Our Story
The Journey Begins
Tom Snyder begins his career as a furniture maker, developing expertise in woodworking and historical furniture design that would later become invaluable in conservation work.
Academic Foundation
Tom completes his BA in Art History, developing a deep understanding of artistic styles and historical contexts essential for authentic restoration work.
Conservation Expertise
After earning his MA in Art Conservation from Buffalo State College, Tom begins his post-graduate internship at the prestigious Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
Founding Vision
Williamsburg Art Conservation Inc. is established, with a mission to provide museum-quality conservation services to both institutions and private collectors.
